The heart of the ladies retreats rests in Mark 6:46. Jesus went away to pray. As women with many titles, tasks and responsibilities, sometimes we just need some time of not being needed so we can hear God. Sometimes we just need rest and to not feel guilty about it. The men’s retreats are geared and designed to let men enter into a safe place of worship, and intimacy with God.
